## Summary
Barrington James is seeking a VP Corporate Controller to join their growing team in Princeton, NJ. The role involves overseeing and actively driving the day-to-day accounting function while ensuring compliance with GAAP.

## About the Role
As the VP Corporate Controller, you will manage month-end and year-end close, prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, lead audits, and implement scalable systems. This position combines strategy and execution through a hands-on approach, requiring interaction with the CFO and effective management of the accounting team.

## About You  
**Required:**  
- A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a controller-level or equivalent role.  
- Proven track record in leadership decision making, scaling, and change management.  
- Deep technical GAAP expertise.  
- Experience leading ERP or financial system implementations.  
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and align with all levels of the organization.
  
**Preferred:**  
- Life science experience.  
- Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.  
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
